Signet proposes portable authority for one user-chosen agent across services.
Rules and assets are separate versioned records. Rings bind them; tasks receive
bounded budgets, explicit expiry and owner-approved scope. New accounts start at
zero. Completion or expiry ends authority; swaps do not renew it. Restoring policy
never restores spent authority. R2 native JSON snapshots use conditional head CAS.

Client-only asset decryption with owner-held keys and no escrow is the direction;
the exact designated-pair unlock protocol remains unresolved. Keys copied by an
agent do not self-expire. Provider-restricted virtual cards and isolated execution
are candidate routes, not live integrations.

Proposed browser flow: pause action, Jev classifies structured context, Signet
checks current rules, browser executes only an exact grant. Jev is TypeSafe's
non-text-generating System One model, not authority or an infallible classifier.
Unknown actions stop; bypass routes and hostile content remain security questions.
No controlled browser or Jev integration is implemented.

Exact one-time approvals exist locally. Rich monthly exceptions such as $5 extra
for dog food are planned; rationale is not permission and cannot change a baseline.

The local prototype includes signed authority, passkey verification, rings and
native persistence tests. Native owner UI/HTTP/concurrency review and readable
requirement binding remain unfinished. R2/KMS transports are mock-tested, not live.
No merchant or named platform integration, certification or endorsement is claimed.
Legacy MCP proof/query paths include placeholders; generic one-time capability
issuance remains disabled. Source availability depends on publication of this revision.

The homepage is fictional and grants no access. /demo/ is a separate legacy
capabilities-manifest walkthrough with an optional real external checkout.

signet preview-serve for read-only MCP evaluation or signet owner-preview for
fictional UI. Do not treat an install command as production custody readiness.
